CIPCO is a generation and transmission cooperative headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It is the wholesale power provider for Southwest Iowa Rural Electric Cooperative and 12 other rural electric distribution cooperatives and 1 municipal cooperative. Together CIPCO and the CIPCO Systems supply the electric service needs of 250,000 Iowans in a region covering one-half of the state of Iowa.
