In 1986, Phil started his career with Peachtree Windows & Doors, Inc. in St Joseph, Missouri, working as the Assistant Personnel Manager. Phil was hired as the Office Manager for Adams County Cooperative Electric Company in Corning, Iowa in December, 1988. Phil became the shared Office Manager for Adams County Cooperative Electric Company and Nyman Electric in Stanton, Iowa in the fall of 1996. These two Cooperatives had shared a General Manager since 1988. The two Cooperatives consolidated on January 1, 1998 to form Southwest Iowa Service Cooperative. On January 1, 2004, Southwest Iowa Service Cooperative consolidated with Rideta Electric Inc. located in Mount Ayr, Iowa. This formed our current Cooperative - Southwest Iowa Rural Electric Cooperative. At that time, Phil was promoted to Director of Finance & Administrative Services. In September 2006, Duane Dinville, CEO took retirement and Phil was promoted to become the next CEO of Southwest Iowa Rural Electric Cooperative.
